Benoit Robinot-Bertrand

Benoit has a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA) and from the Ecole des Mines (France). Prior to joining Amazon, Benoit worked for 14 years at Newgistics, an Austin based company acquired by Pitney Bowes in 2017, as General Manager of the Parcel Business and prior to that as a network design engineer at Vector SCM (a 4PL now owned by General Motors). He joined Amazon in 2017 and launched Amazon Last Mile operations (AMZL) in Spain in time for a successful 2017 peak for our Spanish customers. He then moved internally within the company and joined Transportation Execution. Benoit oversaw the team that was responsible for the End-to-End execution of the transportation flows from the European Fulfillment Centers to the Amazon customers from a capacity, quality, speed and cost standpoint in addition to the engagements with all postal and commercial carriers in Europe. In July 2022, Benoit joined Amazon Transportation Services where he managed Amazon Freight (external offering of Amazon’s Truckload and Less Than Truckloads capabilities) along with key Surface Transportation programs (including Amazon Managed tours, Linehaul Planning, Fleet, Intermodal, Fill Rate initiative, etc). In February 2024, he transitioned to his current role as the Director of EU Surface Transportation with a further expansion of his scope to include all the operations functions of Amazon EU Surface Transportation network. In this capacity, he focuses on enhancing the efficiency of Amazon EU Surface Transportation network from a cost, quality, speed and sustainability standpoint.
