Focussing on young logistitians at the early stages of their career, BVL International expedites promotion and networking of Young Professionals. Our association offers a cross-industry platform where the important early-years experiences and challenges can be shared and discussed. In the true spirit of the networking idea, we organize events covering recent and specific topics custom-tailored to the needs of this important audience. All graduates, career newcomer or laterant entrants until the age of 35 are generally know as Young Professionals.
Events for logistics newcomers
"Fireside chats" are a kind of new format within the BVL chapter event program targeting specifically junior employees with some professional experience. The aim is to connect to other members and to initiate an exchange of experience. The first fireside chats generated highly positive feedback from the attendees. They especially praised the small number of participants as well as the topics tailored to Young Professionals and the format in general. Beside the fireside chats, members of the Young Professional network organized company visitations and lectures in order to to expand the participant's personal and professional network and engage experts of different industries in professional discourse.
