Thesis paper on "The Cloud – Logistics for the Future?"
In June 2012 Professor Werner Delfmann, chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of BVL, presented a Discussion Paper on "The Cloud – Logistics for the Future?", which is available here for download.
The Cloud-Logistics-Principle is a promising approach to improve flexibility and robustness of delivery chains. It transfers the idea of Cloud Computing from the IT area to Logistics in order to bundle autonomous logistic units more efficiently into one overall system.
