About Klaus Bäder

Born in 1962 in Germany, he is engaged as a logistics manager in the medium sized chemical industry since 30 years. He held several management positions within the supply chain including Customer Service, Planning, Warehouse & Transportation (Mostly within a European scope).

His ambition is to achieve high service levels with low stock. According to him, main enablers are demand driven flexible manufacturing lines & closely connected production & warehouse operations. Based on his genuine interest at very personal level, he wants to relocate more cargo on trains. He has already implemented solutions for intermodal transport of packed goods and a new site track for a manufacturing plant. Most of bulk transports in Europe are intermodal already.
