About Prof. Christian Kille
Prof. Dr. Christian Kille, born 1972, started his career at Fraunhofer SCS after finalizing his diploma thesis in electrical engineering in 1999. From 2007, he headed the own developed business field “Market Analysis”. After finishing his dissertation on logistics markets and their quantification at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg he became professor for retail logistics and operations management at the University for Applied Science Würzburg-Schweinfurt. He is head of the bachelor program on Business Administration with nearly 2,000 students. Since 2011, he is market expert of the German BVL. In 2013, he was appointed as member of the juries “Logistics Hall of Fame” and “Logix – German Logistics Real Estate Award” (chairman since 2015). In 2014, he and Markus Meißner founded the initiative for “Forecasting the development of logistics in Germany” under the patronage of Dorothee Bär, parliamentary state secretary of the German Federal Minister for Traffic and Digital Infrastructure. Kille is also author of several studies and books as well as articles.
